I just sent two examples of short personal thank you type messages I just received in my in-box from people on our list--they did not seem to come thru correctly so I am writing again to try to clarify what I was writing about. My point was that we, I thought, had all agreed not to send these personal messages thru the list so as not to clutter up everyone's mailboxes. I am talking about the kind of message that has absolutely no meaning to anyone other then the recipient. Such as: "Ok thanks, Mildred", etc. etc. Please.... when we receive 40 or more e-mails a day, it is not fair that we have to wade through all this meaningless stuff. Let's all try to be more thoughtful, please, and send personal messages directly to the person, not to everyone on the list! Happy New Year.
