Aileen, there is a Thomas ADAMS is mentioned in this book on page 578 under the heading of "historical sketches" of Springfield township, and early settlers. It says, "..Thomas Adams, who came about 1810, and settled on section 27, now owned by his son, Jacob Adams." That is all that is mentioned about him, no mention of Elizabeth RALSTON although there are many Ralston names in the index. Beryl
