Just found the name of Ralph S. Smith of Smithfield on a land purchase dated 13 June 1931. He purchased land from Cox heirs of Wesley Cox (dec) for ten dollars and other considerations. The land was in Sec 12, Twp 8, Range 3. I have not researched this yet, but thought someone might have knowledge of this man and whether he has any connection to the Cox family. Kathryn Cox
