Dear friends, While at the state captial in Oklahoma City last week, I found a book titled something like 1800-1820 Land Grants Filed at the Stuebenville Land Office. I found two records for grants to Malachi Jolly/Jolley, for which I made pholot copies, but since arriving home, am unable to find them. If any of you have this book available to you and wouldn't mind doing a lookup, I would be very grateful. Malachi Jolly is mentioned as the (original) grantee of the land that later became to property of George McCance (Jr.). The land was in Smith's (Smithfield), and George's son, Manson McCance purchased the interest of his brother and sisters for $300, in 1822. I've been corresponding with someone who is researching Dellah/Deliah Jolly, who married John Watts b. 1804, and would like to share this information with them as well. Thank you, Pam Ingle
