Hello, We have THOMPSON family...information from family notes: James THOMPSON (b 1832 County Derry, Ireland) married in Ireland to Nancy Jane Millar ( b 1836 County Derry, Ireland) (was Nancy a nickname for some other name at that time?) (Last name could be Miller -both spellings show up in various records) ***OHIO REFERENCE: They had son John M(illar) THOMPSON b 1863 in Steubenville, Ohio. (I have no idea if there are other children??) John THOMPSON married 1881...in Ohio? in Missouri? in Nebraska? to Amanda Elizabeth SWIGERT (b 1863 MO) (Although name is spelled SWIGERT, it could be Swigart, or maybe another variation.) John and Amanda THOMPSON moved to Adams County/Hall County Nebraksa where they had son Clinton Adam THOMPSON in 1888. Does anyone recognize this THOMPSON family? Thank you for any assistance.
