Hello List, I think I just found a marriage I have been searching for. William SHANNON married Mary F. McMASTERS on July 4, 1877, in Jefferson County, Ohio according to the IGI Individual Records at the LDS site. I know they had two children William Allen Shannon, born October 1879 and Mary E. Shannon born April 1882. I was hoping someone could help me find out more information on the father William Shannon and if possible confirm the marriage date. This is the first time I've been able to locate his first name. The mystery is that his wife and son were listed with her parents (Allen T. and Mary McMASTERS) in 1880, in 1890 the children are listed with the same grandparents (his wife died in 1886), and they are again listed with the widowed grandmother in 1900.
