Hello! I am looking for information on the family of Samuel and Mary (MOOREHEAD) McCRORY. I do not have much to go on. They were Irish immigrants (or may have never immigrated) and likely birth ranges for them would be 1789-1823. They had one known daughter: Lillie (possibly Lillian) McCRORY b.1839 in Ireland. She was in the U.S. no later than April 1867 when she married Thomas B. TAYLOR in Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio. There also seems to be a link to the GREENWOOD surname of Co. Antrim, Ireland as well and in Steubenville - including the names of Joseph and Hugh GREENWOOD. Joseph b. Feb 1823 in Ireland and Hugh b.abt.1828 in Ireland. Both emigrated to the U.S. about 1845. If you recognize any part of this, I would love to hear from you - I have a lot of information on Lillie (McCrory) Taylor and the Greenwoods of Ireland and US and more than a few unsolved mysteries that I would love to share.
