I believe that Henry Maxwell b. 1800 Brooke WV m. Nancy Brownlee moved to Jefferson County OHIO sometime after 1850 and before 1855. He had two sons: Samuel and John. Both fought in G company 30th OH INF in the civil war (Samuel's pension says his mother is Nancy; John B. Maxwell lists Jane as his wife and Arthur Brannagan as a grandson - there is a marraige of Jane Maxwell to Arthur Brannagan). There are marriage records of female Maxwells with the same first names as the daughters of Henry and Nancy and right timeframe: Nancy Maxwell m. Samuel Savage Eliza J. Maxwell m. George W. Kiddy Sarah m. Sylvanus H. Debee Sarah m. Albart R. Dunlap Rachel B. m. John W. Lucas Too many Mary Maxwell marraiges and no Martha Maxwell.
