Hi all, Still working on those very elusive BERTRUCHI's and need some help with addresses: One could someone give me the name, addresses and phone numbers for the 2 closest cemeteries, funeral homes, and catholic churches to 307 S. 6th Street. This is the address where Joseph (Jessie) and Leonard BERTRUCHI lived according to the 1924 city directory. Also, does someone local know if that address still exist? If so, would it be possible to also obtain from the phone book listings for say 3-4 neighbors? People who lived in close proximity? Who knows there history of Steubenville well? Was there a Catholic High School in the early 1900's, 1910, 1915 ish time period? If so, could I also have that name and address; and if not the public high school. Trains, what trains would have been big in the area during that time frame? As you can see, I'm trying to think of some less obvious ways to obtain some information. Family history says the people were, says they lived there for some time; but NOTHING I'm finding(which has been slighly more than nothing) indicates that. Only notations I've been able to find is a listing in the 1920 census, and one notation in the 1924 city directory; AND.............The people listed weren't even the same people. If I don't quit scratching my head, I'm gonna go bald! Women really don't look nice bald. Need some help! Thanks to one and all for whatever you can offer. Sandy
