Dear Linda, According to Tilton Territory by Robert H. Richardson, Carpenter's Fort was on present day Short Creek in Warren Township. page 263, note 4. There is a chapter called Carpenter's Fort in this book. If your library does not own it, try to see if they can obtain it for you through interlibrary loan.
