He Married 4 Jun 1827 Jefferson Co Ohio, Rhoda (Reed ?) b. 15 Aug 1810 d. 5 Oct 1882 Pa. ? VA?. children: Sarah 1838 Ohio, Charlette 1840 IN., Wilson S 1844 IN., Annette b. 1847 IN. married James H Kersey, Martha b. 1854, William 1859. Some researchers say Benjamin is the son of Benjamin Franklin Maple b. 1782 in PA. Mother Martha Rich and that may be but so far I have seen no convincing proof ...Does anyone out there have information on this Maple or Reed family line? Other researchers believe that Benjamin could be a son of David Maple Jr. b. 1799 or 1780 Fayette Co PA. married Hannah Mahan 28 Sep 1826 Jefferson CO Ohio. Davis moved to Boone CO KY and Decatur CO IN. Does anyone have information on David's family? I believe that most of the Maples in Jefferson Co Ohio were related and any help on this large family of MAples in this area or KY area would be greatly appreciated.
