Abigial Willis Sapp was a sister of one of my GGG Grandfathers. As you see, I don't have much and can not make a connection to Donna's Elizabeth or Susan. On the 1870 census the initials look like R.D. WFT 20/2014 has James Clendenning, b. 7 July 1830 and married 24 June 1856. sp- Nancy Sapp Born - 6 May 1828 Ohio Mar. - 22 Jun 1852 Jefferson Co, Ohio Died - 6 Jan 1906 Dau of John Sapp & Abigail (Abbie) Willis Note - Nancy is buried at the Knoxville United Presbyterian Cemetery in Knox Twp. On the 1900 census Nancy is a widow with ten children born, five living. She has Lottie, James, and Minnie living at home. Also a grand son Harry W. age 12, b. Jul 1887. They are living in Knox Twp. next door to her brother John. 3 - Abbie S. Clendenning Born - 23 Jan 1853 3 - John F. Clendenning Born - 19 Oct 1854 Died - 1879 Note - John is buried with his mother at the Knoxville Presbyterian Church, Knox Twp., Jefferson Co. Or are the dates 1859-1887? 3 - May Ophelia Clendenning Born - 22 Dec 1857 Died - 1877 Note - Ophelia is buried at Knoxville. sp- Daniel Clendenning Note - I did not find Daniel on the 1900 Ohio census index. 3 - Josie A. Clendenning Born - 5 Apr 1859 Died - 23 Jul 1887 Note - On the 1870 census Josie is Johannah. She is Joanna Clendenning buried at Knoxville. sp- Charles H.
