Thomas Hamilton lived in Smithfield Township. He was there virtually all of the 1800's - he played some role in my gg grandfather's life, but I am beginning to think he may have been an uncle. He was married to a McLaughlin first, but may have had as many as three wives later, including Effie Gourley. His brother in law was married to a Nancy Lindsay, the daughter of John and Martha Lindsay. This is so close to the Harrison County line, they seem to go back and forth, and it is impossible to track, does anyone have any information on the hamilton family? John William Lindsay
