Good People, I am looking for information on the WATTS family. I don't know much about them, but here it is, passed down from family lore. John Watts, 1780-1871, whereabouts unknown. Daughter Mary Watts, b Feb 14, 1823, married Samuel E Cole of Pennsylvania. LDS has a record of Samuel Cole marrying a Mary R Watts, 23 Mar 1852, in Jefferson, Ohio. Mary (Watts) Cole died 1909 in Mercer Co., Illinois. My great-uncle had found a newspaper clipping about her ancestors. One who walked 70 miles to vote for Thomas Jefferson. Another that had planted the first wheat in the Connowingo Valley in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Also found a record book of a brother who ran a stage coach between Steubenville, Ohio and Wheeling, West Virginia. These have been lost since, unfortunately. Thanks in advance. Greg Eakman
