The Archives of these gen. lists are surfed by many, looking for specific names. It is therefore important that what appears in the subject slot reflects the ACTUAL subject of the posting.......the best thing is a name and date, giving "surfers" a clear idea of what they'll find if they click on the posting. Most who surf simply ignore of the the 'non-subject' subjects, such as family history, genealogy, roll call, or the one used in the email below.... She married Solomon Thomas b Meigs Co, 1823, in January of 1866. They had a son Solomon Thomas b1866, d 1926. He married Dora Maude Moore. They had a son John Richard , my father.
