I am looking for any information about James Torrance, an early Elder of the Two Ridge Presbyterian Church, and his connection to my Carrel family about 1818 in Jefferson County, Ohio. He became legal guardian of the nine minor Carrel children in 1818/1819, five years after their father Philip died in 1813 during the war, and obtained bounty land in their name. BL #715. Eric
