My Jefferson Co., Oh names are Thompson, Talbott, Gordon, Lindeman, Bucy/Bucey/Busey, Marsh, Atkinson. Betty Lindeman Bloom

Regarding Bucy and other spellings listed, my gggrandmother was Mary Jane Buicy or Buecy (hard to read in the copy of the obit that I have). She was born in 1825 and was married to my gggrandfather Samuel Ashby born 1820. They lived in Rush Run. I hope this may help someone and if you think that this person might be part of your clan, please let me know either privately or through the group. Rush Run at one time was known and called Riley's Run. (A descendant of this Riley family is currently working with township officials to have a historical marker placed at location of massacre or near the main route where the massacre occurred!) So, if you ever see a reference to those areas, they are pretty much one and the same. The Riley family is the family that was massacred by the Indians and is said to be one of the last in the county. John, are any of your ATKINSON'S from Brooke County Virginia (now WVA)?
