Mary SHOEMAKER, b. 11 Nov 1834, Salem, Jefferson Co., OH, d. 16 Oct 1921, Salem, Jefferson Co., OH. Would like more info on Joseph Freeland PATTON's siblings: Jacob Patton (died at 4 or 5 years of age) Annie, married a Levingood Sadie, married Thos. Miser of Salem Twp. Alma (Almie), never married and lived with her widowed mother Ross; allegedly had fits and may have lived with Alma (although no documentation of this) Robert Moss, married a Reed and had a son Paul. Also would like more info on Mary SHOEMAKER, left an orphan under guardianship. Her parents wer John Shoemaker and Eve Koontz, both originally from Bedford, PA. I believe she had two brothers Jacob Shoemaker (d. 25 Oct 1899; wife Mary Ann) and Adam Shoemaker, d. 29 Nov. 1886, wife Elizabeth, son Josiah who died just before he turned 14 years old).
