I am looking for information on Bird/Lizzie Wilson. Her maiden name was McCurdy and her mother's maiden name was Bristor. Her father's name was Arthur McCurdy 1848-189l. Her mother was Sierra Nevada Bristor1853-1923. Bird/Lizzie McCurdy (Bristor) Wilson was born in 1868. She married James Lafayette Wilson April 8, 1888. He was a musician who played in Bueche's Band. He also was a Woodman and a member of the Congregational Church. Several years after James Lafayette's death Bird just disappeared. There is a newspaper article that she came back to Steubenville to attend a funeral of a Leggitt (Hopedale) and her last name was Hicks and she was from Geauga County. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. Her birth certificate lists her name as Arthur McCurdy. That was her father's name. On her children's birth certificates she is Lizzie McCurdy, Lizzie Bristor, Bird McCurdy or Bird Bristor, depending on whose birth certificate you look at. This woman fascinates me. I would love to learn more about her, plus fill in the blank on my tree of where she died.
