Dear List members, Jefferson County Chapter, OGS would like to invite all to attend a "FREE and OPEN to the public" presentation this coming Tuesday, July 1st, 2003 at the Schiappa Branch Public Library from 7 to 9:00 p.m. (The library is located near the Ft. Steuben Mall in Steubenville, Ohio). Our guest speaker will be, Jeff Evans II, who is a 1995 graduate from Bethany College with a BA in history. He has worked at several historical sites including; Fort Necessity National Battlefield, Petersburg National Battlefield, Gettysburg National Military Park, Colonial Williamsburg, Eisenhower National Historic Site and Brandywine Battlefield. He served three years as the Senior Staff Writer for the Battlefield Journal and has written dozens of articles of local interest as well as for national publications.
