Hi Listers, My ancestors Philip CARREL and his wife Mary [?] sold lot #102 in New Salem, Ohio to a John Gans (Gantz) in 1812. I cannot find any records of Carrells buying any property in Jefferson County, and so think they might have inherited it. Mary [?] may have inherited it. Does anyone have any records of the early deeds in New Salem, now Annapolis, prior to 1812? Eric
