    3. This is from THE HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA, by Futhey and Cope Thomas BABB married Bathsheba Hussey, dau of John Hussey, near New Castle, prior to 1700, and lived in Brandywine Hundred. In 1713 his wife died, leaving several children, and he married again 3-25-1720 3-25-1720, Elizabeth Conway Booth, a widow, of MIddletown twp. Elizabeth Connaway/Conway was the daughter of Mary Hollingsworth and her first husband Thomas Connaway. (the following is fromIMMIGRATION OF THE IRISH QUAKERS INTO PA 1682-1750 , by Myers.) Mary was born 1MO 25, 1656, at Belleniskcrannell and married 4 MO 28, 1682 at Parish of Segoe, County Armagh. Thomas Conway was of the Parish of LIsburn, county Antrim. They came to Delaware with her father in 1682, and settled near him in New Castle County. Thomas Connaway died 11 Mo 30, 1688-9 and his widow married Randal Malin. Thomas Babb Jr, married Sarah ? ca 1729, and moved to VA. Peter Babb, son of Thomas settled in West Caln ca 1725, and married 11-22-1728, Mary Lewis daughter of Evan and Ann, of that township. Is my face red or WHAT! I was looking in Ohio MMs for Babbs, and looked at the Hopewell MM there, instead of VA....they ARE, of course, in the Va Hopewell MM records, with the first mention 1736, Thomas Babb Jr - Hopewell MM by Kennett MM.
