Hi all, I am still looking for some missing Armstrong family. Here is what I have on the family. Charles Armstrong, Richard Jackman Sr.and James Patterson came to Island Creek twp and bought land in 1801. Believe they were here before that time but proof of the 1801. James Patterson died before the 1801 and was buried on the Armstrong land. James Patterson the husband of Jane Jackman Patterson. Charles Armstrong, b. 1763 Ireland d. Sept. 10, 1851, Island Creek twp. Susannah Jackman Armstrong b. 1772, Ireland d, 1842, Island Creek twp, daughter of Richard Jackman Sr. Both buried Abel J. Crawford Farm Cem. Originally their land. Margaret Armstrong b. 1801, Island Creek, twp, married John Marsteller,son of Benjamin Marsteller, 1821, moved to Mercer Co. Pa. both buried Haywood Cem, Mercer Co. PA. Robert Armstrong b. 1804, Island Creek twp, married Ann Ekey, 7 July 1842, daughter of John Ekey, moved to Seneca Co. OH both died there and buried Farewell Retreat, Sciopo twp. George Armstrong, b. 1811, Island Creek twp, married Mary Ann Swickard, daughter of Martin Swickhard, married in 1833 and moved to Seneca Co. OH. both died in Seneca Co. OH. buried Farewell Retreat Cem.Sciopo twp. Need information on John Armstrong b. unknown Charley Armstrong b. unknown, possible marriage to a Sarah Miller. William Armstrong b. unknown, deed shows married a Susannah unknown. Also a grandson named Charles Armstrong b. abt 1835. Thanks for any help with these Armstrong. Have a nice evening.
