    3. There were quite a few potteries and brick works in Jefferson Co. I have some copied pages from a book called "History of Belmont and Jefferson Counties". The companies it lists are mostly brickworks or terra cotta pipe manufacturers. In addition I found several books on Toronto Ohio at the Schiappa branch in Steubenville that discuss the clay industry in the region. I would suggest you go to (or write) this branch for more info. Your cousin is fortunate to have the bowl. I would love to have something from my ancestor's factory. Good luck!
