    3. I have the Early Marriage Book here at home. I just checked it and it lists Charles Beall and Sophia Duvall married 12 Oct 1828. 3. Bobbie, The reason I was requesting info on blank census forms is you cannot read some of the words at the top fo the forms from actual copies made from microfilm ( which I have quit a few). Such as when did this person come to America, and where was this person born, etc. Barbara P. Beranek Bobbie Reihsen wrote: > Hi, Just noticed your message. I have a dumb question. 2. Kay Davidson
    3. Just two brief questions: 1. Does anyone know where we could purchase both volumes: History of the Upper Ohio Valley? 2. Would anyone out there have access to the courthouse (or wherever the Wills are kept) and would be willing to do some looking up for us? We've just received the Will of Jessie Davidson and need to find out more information that may be contained in other Davidson Wills from the 1800's. Thanks a lot. Kay Davidson

    3. Hi Folks, Larry and I just returned from Stark County. Grandma, Greathel Marie Shook Moore, passed away last Friday morning at age 87. I know there are some folks out there with her name and the family name so I thought I'd let you know she's at peace. I know we are all working so hard to find our ancestors but I urge you all to speak with the "old ones", get their stories and talk with their cousins. Grandma's legacy to us is that she lived without judging people, not because she couldn't, but because she chose to see and bring out the good in everyone who took the 5 or 10 minutes to be really honest with with themselves and her. Our two grandkids were her two youngest great-great-grandchildren...she knew them and they new her. So talk with and learn from those who have the time to listen and really do care. Kay

    3. Hi Jan, Could you please check to see if you have anything on Harvey CAMPBELL; b. 10 Aug 1843; d. 14 Jul 1894, Bergholz, Jefferson County; Civil War Vet: 3rd Regt O.V.I., Co. K; married to Mollie MATSON; b. 1846; d. 1907; both are buried in Bergholz Cemetery, Jefferson Co., OH.? Harvey was either born in West Virginia or Columbiana Co., OH, and I'm not sure where Mollie was from - but her parents were George and Annie MATSON, also buried in Bergholz Cemetery. I am searching for a Mary Leeper b/abt1882 of VA that married a John GARRETSON b/about 1781 of PA. They came into Jefferson Co., Ohio. I believe, (not documented) John to be the s/o Aaron GARRETSON b/1759 and Mary HAMMOND of York Co., PA. I have documented..my gg-gf as Joseph GARRETSON b/1824 m/Mary GREER. All I can find of his parents is from census... John of PA. and Mary of VA. In the Hx. of Stuebenville and Jeff Co., a bio of Joseph's son William Bates GARRETSON b/1847 gives a one liner........Joseph's father is JOHN of PA. Again thank you Audrey

    2. Does anyone know of a written history of Annapolis? My grandmothers mom ( surnames: Wallace & Myers) was born there. She tells me that the little town was quite a bustling town in its heyday. Right now, there is only a little store. She said it was a stage coach stop and that they had a post office, a hotel etc... it would be interesting to read of its history if one exists. Or does anyone have stories passed down from their relatives. Grandma lives there now. She wishes she knew where in Annapolis her mother was raised. Is there any way to know? Pam
