Many of you are no doubt receiving mail with a virus attachment that has a RootsWeb From address. They are not coming from RootsWeb. The worm or virus or whatever is faking the Rootsweb address and is actually coming from somewhere else. RootsWeb does not allow attachments. Never open an attachment you are not expecting, even if it appears to come from someone you know. Check with them first to see if they sent it. And of course, always use an virus checker. Almost every virus created in the past few years fakes the From address and other headers. If you receive a virus, you can be pretty sure it did not come from the person in the From address.
