Schannon - I have been trying to find my husband's Brady relations in Jackson County for some time, and have run into major brick walls with the Jackson County Court House folks. I know that John and Jane/Jennie Brady lived in Jackson County in 1880 and that their son William E. was on the 1880 census with them and in subsequently buried in Coalton Cemetery in July of the same year. He is not listed on the Jackson County death index. I also know that John & Jane lived in Jackson in 1900 and Jane moved in with her daughter and SIL by 1905 (Montgomery Co.) meaning John died about that time. As far as I can determine, there is no headstone for John in Coalton, but I cannot fathom that Jane would have buried him anywhere else. Jackson Co. has no death record for him either.
