I have a will of an ancestor which was made out in 1842 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Name of the man was James Foster. In his will he refers to owning about 80 acres of land in Jackson Co., Ohio at the time he wrote his will. How can I go about finding what land he owned there at that time and what are my chances that I could find anything in writing about the land........which hopefully would help me find out more about this ancestor?
