I emailed the columbus library and received this information back. You can apply for a library card on line at <www.columbuslibrary.org>, and you can also ask a question as i did. You also can get a library card in 10 days they said as long as you are an Ohio resident. You will complete and submit a form on line. If you wish a card sooner and you live near a Discovery Place Library location, you can pick one up. Applications in person will need to present identification with name and address, such as drivers license, printed personal check or employee identification card.
