Bonnie, my sister-in-law is a Shonkwiler living in Scioto Co., Once I was browsing around on the Scioto Co. website and found a website of biographies of a lot of the early settlers in the area and their descendants and I was interested to see all of the information on the Shonkwilers. I have quite a few Stephenson intermarriages with my line in Jackson, Clark and Shelby Co. Ohio. When James Stephenson (married to Sarah Buckley) died he left no heirs other than his siblings and nieces and nephews of his deceased sibling. He named them all in his will.     3. I am related to the following Short(s) who once lived in Jackson City, Jackson County, Ohio. William Short wife-Leanna child-Remethy child-McCLellan child-Sherman child-Francis child-Albert nephew-William Francis married Minnie May of Jackson also, two of their children are buried in the Glen Roy area, they had 13 children all told, 5 of whom lived to adulthood (with families of their own). They had moved to Morgan COunty (Deavertown) in the early 1900s. If you are related to this family... let me know. Thanx!
