    2. Again Thank you to the person who sent that email!!!!! (Im terrible, I didnt jot down the name, Im sorry) But, I went this morning and signed up and I just got my card this afternoon, through email and this is soooo much easier than ancestry.com, the images load quicker and there is access to newspapers, of course, I think in order to get old papers you actually have to go to the library, I havent navigated the whole site completly yet. Again Thanks! Crystal Farris

    2. In the Landrum Cemetery, Liberty Township Jackson County Ohio there are two Smith Landrum's on ewas born 1786 and died 1854 he was the son of Mark & Nancy Landrum. Then there is a Smith Landrum that was born 1859 and died 1893 he was the son of Elza & Julia Landrum. The first Smith Landrum was born in VA. I do have grave photos of every grave in Landrum Cemetery as I retranscribed it a few summer's ago. 2. Lois My Tilley is down through Foster I would have to get my file out to see exactly which line mine comes through. I know the direct line is Harvey Tilley, he had a daughter Minnie Mae Tilley that married Harley Cleveland Foster, they are my great grandparents. 1. [OHJACKSO-L] STROPES - SHRIVER [?] - WORTHINGTON
    2. William STROPES, son of Henry and Tamer [Nelson] STROPES was born in Jackson Co., Ohio c1832 and married Mary Ann SHRIVER [sp?] there in 1855. Mary Ann was born between 1837 and 1842 per census information. Know children are to be: Angeline/a [sp?] born c1856, Samantha born c1858, Mahlon [sp?] born c1860, and Henry born c1863. In 1866 Mary Ann married Alexander WORTHINGTON in Lawrence Co., Ohio. Angeline/a does not appear on the 1870 Lawrence Co., Ohio census. Does anyone have any insight as to what happened to William - possibly killed in Civil War - or what happened to Angeline/a - nothing found so far. Thank you for your courtesy. 3. You can always go to Godfrey Memorial Library and sign up for membership $35. a year and they have Heritage Quest. This is what I did. My small Library did not have it. I have Ancestry also but use Heritage Quest most of the time. I have dial-up Internet and Ancestry is very slow, Heritage Quest faster and the census pages print out great. They do have gaps where they still need to complete index and etc but so does the other sites. I live over 70 miles away from a large city Library that has Census Records so it is well worth the money. 3. Hi--Meant to write you earlier this past week, We are leaving tomorrow for East Tn to work on my boyfriend's geneal. and am trying tol clean out this Inbox---it will be stacked with things when I get back home in a few days...esp. with this exciting Roll Call! Wanted to write you because I am sure we are related. My grandma, Lulu Tilley Baker (1889-1992) was a sister to Myrtha (spel.) Tilley Music. Their parents were Lucy Ann Landrum and Thomas Jefferson Tilley. So, do you think we are some sort of cousins maybe so-many times removed? Let me know and will get back with you later. I have been trying to get back to working on the Tilley line.
