    1. Land records
    2. I have found in the "History of Coalton & Coal Twp. Quadrennial Appraisement" mention of Jennie Brady owning 41 acres of land in Eureka - I finally figured out where this is, but need help in determining what happened to this parcel... If any one has access to land records, or estate records, please let me know. I do not live in Jackson County and cannot look these up... Jennie (Jane) moved out of Jackson/Coalton abt 1905 and I think died about 1918 (haven't found that one yet...) Daughter Urilla Ann married Oliver Grove 1891, in Jackson, but lived in Washington Court House, Dayton and Detroit. Land would have been passed to her if it wasn't sold prior.... Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance. Lisa

    3. Ron, I would love to see that picture of William Lewis Rice also. I am a relative to the Rice family, but not sure how yet. I know that Ed Rice is my cousin and I have a lot of information to catch up on that side and how they are incorporated into my side of the family, but I know for sure that they are some how. Would love to see the picture though. He was at one time a mail carrier in Jackson. I have a picture of him with a wheel barrel full of mail. Thanks, Ron Walke .

    2. Kathie Gifford
    3. Schannon, One of the items that you list as having on CD is "Genealogical records: VA Land,Marriage & probate 1639--1850". I would like to confirm the marraige of William Glass Tanner and Mary Jane Tibbs on Nov. 26, 1829 in Campbell Co., Virginia. If it's possible to do that with what you have, I'd also like to have as much info as possible on Mary Jane Tibbs. Thank you for all you're doing to check info for us, Kathie Gifford ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 04, 2004 5:07 PM Subject: [OHJACKSO-L] resources on Cd's > I also have these thing's on CD: > Passenger & immigrant Lists:Boston 1821--1850 > Selected U.S./International marriages 1560--1900 > Genealogical records: VA Land,Marriage & probate 1639--1850 > Military: U.S. Soldiers 1784--1811 > Military Records: Massachusetts Civil War soldiers & Sailors 1861--1865 > Southern Biographies & genealogies 1500's --1900's > World Family tree volumes 1--6 > SSDI 1937-1999 > Mid Atlantic Genealogies 1340--1940 > Local & Family Histories: New England 1600's--1900's > Co. & Family Histories: PA 1740--1900 > Confederate Generals > Civil War Medal of Honor > Civil War Muster Rolls > Titanic Passenger List > Union generals > Vietnam Medal of Honor > WWI & WWII medal of honor > > I will be posting other resources that I have when I get them organized. > Schannon > >

I also have another Jane Rice, no info known, who married a William Henry Mcley from Point Pleasant in Mason County, Virginia Thanks Schannon for all your efforts.
