William was American, Gladys English, they had no children, but Gladys had many friends and family in the UK. She was born around 1900 and Bill died in the 1970s. He was a school teacher, possibly a head teacher and they lived in New Philadelphia, Ohio. We visited in 1990 but were never informed of her death, though we think she must be gone by now!
