The company was initially raised in the fall of 1861 by two men, Hugh Anderson and Robert Carson Brown. Anderson became regimental surgeon for the 64th OVI regiment and Brown became Capt of Co C.     3. Dear Ray, We're missing Volumes 1,2, and 7 of the series and it seems likely that the 92nd is in Volume 7. I am constantly looking. If someone has it and is willing to work with us, we definitely want to complete the series. One possibility, though, is that the unit was renumbered at some point during the war and the new number is the one under which it is listed on these volumes.
