I don't think it was just my ears... Here's the thing. As you know, Tecumseh's daughter, Jennie, married Shadrach Penn. Shadrach was a direct descendent of William Penn, The Founder. William is my 7th (I think) grandfather twice. He had just a few books printed up for his children ONLY that has to do with how he wanted us to conduct our lives in such a way that God would find acceptable, as well as some plain old-fashioned fatherly advice and wisdom. I'm the proud owner of one of these books. (These books were printed in Philadelphia, PA). Down through time, whoever has owned the book I have has signed their name on the inside cover and some also added the date that they received the book. The surname was Penn for quite a while ALWAYS, then there was a man in Pennsylvania named Lightfoot who owned it prior to it being given to my double gggg-grandfather, Shadrach Penn. As I stated, Shadrach Penn married Tecumseh's daughter, Jennie. I have ! never checked to see if Mr. Lightfoot was married to a Penn woman but I'm assuming that he was. I don't have the book in front of me and I can't remember his first name. I'm thinking it was Henry or something similiar to that. Does any of this sound familiar to you? I'll get this book out one day and give you the Lightfoot name in it as well as the exact name of the book :) If anyone else around here starts getting snotty with us, I'll just e-mail you that info, too!
