I'm Swedish and need some help tracing down some relatives and hopefully, som living descendants! This deals with two sister, Severina Amanda Svensson born in 1878 and Josefin Charlotta Svensson born in 1872, from Gällared Sweden. I have found them in the Ellis Island lists and they arrived in the USA Sept. 1st 1898. They went with a ship called Aurania from Liverpool. In the lists they are both noted as "servants" and that they came from "Gallaved" (Gällared) and that they were going to a cousin in Cleveland, Hulda/Hilda Johansson on 885 ....sex Ave. I can't figure the addresse out. (it looks like "eselsex ave, but that sounds really wierd=))Anyhow, I just realized there are other Clevelands in America as well, but I assume it's the "big" Cleveland they went to?
