If you don't know in which county she was born, you should check either her marriage license application or social security application. Both forms required her birthplace. In the SSDI there is one Bertha born on that date; Bertha PARISH d Sept. 1985. The TXDI shows her middle name was Mae and she died 10 Sep 1985 in Tarrant County, possibly Ft. Worth.
