Anyone out there in Ohio researching the MASTERS or SLOAT families?? I do have a lot of Masters info on the family of my line, Stephen Masters b 1754 NJ d 1835 Nimishillen, Stark Co., OH. Marr. Judith SLOAT b 1764 NY d 1856. They had 12 children who married into OLMSTEAD, STOKES, SHOE, BALDWIN, LEWIS families. My main concern is Judith SLOAT. I have not been able to find her parentage or any siblings. I do believe she is part of the vast SLOT/SLOAT family but cannot find a connection. The Masters family lived in NJ>NY>OH.
