She left Scheibenhardt, Germany shortly after 1833 when her husband died, taking her three children with her. The information I have says that she left Germany illegally. so there are no records to tell me where she was headed to in the United States. I n 1854 her son, my great great grandfather Joseph Boehles/Bayless shows up in Cincinnati, Ohio getting married. This is the only link I have to the family actually being in the United States. Any suggestions where I should look for information in Ohio? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! THANK YOU.
