There really aren't that many, maybe 2 or 3 pages in any given state. Not what I would consider common, but not specific to any one family either that I could find. This was the only reference to a Sumner Lett that came back for my search, which led me to think that it was Charles S. I also did a search for Lett/Sumner marriages but couldn't find anything. The other family I would check out is that of Aquilla Lett who was enumerated on the previous page of the 1880 census. I think he was born OH and may have been an uncle (that's if this Sumner is your Charles S). The interesting thing is that he had a son Stanley. Stanley was not that common of a name either.
