Mother born in Cincinnati (I did find 2 Daly/Ryan marriages,a Mary & a Mary Celia Ryan), young John was born in Chicago Oct, 1894 (from 1900 census) & John C was born in Chicago Oct, 1893 from death certificate. Curious as to where the informant (Sullivan?) got the information, but there's usually something a bit off on death certificates, especially from that time period. John J was born in a different month (don't remember which one but I think it was June?) and born in OH, and your family seemed pretty well established in Chicago by that time. What I didn't find is whether Mary or Mary Celia was the mother of John C, and I didn't find a death or remarriage for Mary that was a match. There was a Mary Daly died 1919 also buried in Mt Olivet, but not much information on the death record, and I think the age was off. Might be worth checking the cemetery if you haven't. Also, you might try posting a query on the Hamil! ton county board. There are some pretty resourceful people who regularly help out on that board.
