I'm actually a little confused to who she is and I"m hoping someone can help. My grandfather was Robert L Houser. DOB 17 July 1929, Portsmouth, Ohio. On Roberts birth certificate, his father is listed as Sylvester Houser, DOB 1901 in Wayne, WV. Sylvester's DOD was 1937 in Peebles, Ohio (son of Joseph and Elizabeth Houser). Roberts mother's full maiden name is listed on his birth certificate as Maud Christoff, born in Forestville, Ohio abt 1905-06. However, on every other legal document I've found, her full maiden name is listed as Maud Shaw. So I'm unsure if she is Maud Christoff or Maud Shaw. Perhaps she was previously married? I just don't know. Sylvester and Maud had at least 4 sons: Russell 1925-2004, Forrest 1924-1952, George 1997-1926 and Robert 1929-2007.
