I do not have William's birthdate, only that he was probably born in 1849 thus marrying in July of 1871 he would have been 21 - 22. Ellouisa Carpenter was born in 1851 so she would have been 20. "Where were they born?" William Miller was born in Greenfield, Galia County as apparently was Ellouisa Carpenter. "When and where was you grandfather John Miller born?" John William Miller was born in Mason, West Virginia. One living in-law verifies this. There was a lot of movement back and forth and John William's grandfather, i.e. father of William, Felty Miller was born in what was then virginia but now is West Virginia. "When and where did John Miller and Laura Shannon married?" John William Miller and Nancy Jane Babbs were married in Perry County, Ohio 02 Nov 1902. The above named living in-law actually has the original marriage license and I have verified this with Perry County records.
