I get so confused tracking the many branches of my family.... I got info from family member, relative of Ruth's grandaughter, Flora Viola Williams. Only had father's name. I found Isaac Jewell in 1850, 1860 Licking OH census with a Samuel b 1826 . Ruth born 1828 so NOT father, but I was thinking maybe Isaac b 1797 NJ was brother to Ruth's father. I just considered it as a possiblility. Ruth was married in 1848 St Joseph IN so would not be on 1850 census with parents. If you have any suggestions or clues, it would be appreciated.
