Stark. Back of the photo has his name then: Philippines, 2-21-45. I found him on FindAGrave.com buried in a Phillipine cemetery and his death date is 2-21-45. According to Ancestry.com he was living in Ohio, Butler County and enlisted 17 Nov 1941 in Kentucky. Combat organization: 145thth Infantry 37th division.
