A couple of her children's death certificates state she was from Ohio. She married John Davis...children's names are John Ronald, Gertrude, Carrie, Arthur, and Norman. I know she was bearing children throughout the 1890s, so 1870s is an approximate guess for her birth year. I also know she lived in IL and MO during her lifetime. Their father was James Stephens (listed on the 1850 Fountain county Indiana census as Stevens) with wife Malinda age 60. His daughter Lorinda was married to an Unknown Miller, which is what I am searching for. This unknown Miller is my 4th GGrandfather in my Direct Line. Lorinda, Benjamins sister is my 4th GGrandmother in my Direct Line.If you view my tree, i have alot of information on the brothers and sisters. James was listed as "Insane" in the medical column of the census and at age 73 in 1850, probably just dementia not Insane. He died later that year. Yale who I have no information on. Oddly the men are the ones I am having trouble finding anything about which I understand is usually the other way around. I know my mother's Irene E Metcalf lineage fairly well she is the daughter of Cecil and Gladis (Lloyd) Metcalf. I am interested in contacting family from her side as well.
