Today I started adding biographies for Ohio to my biography web site. I started with 74 that are for people from Columbiana and Cuyahoga Counties. These may be found at: http://www.onlinebiographies.info/index.htm Most of these are quite long compared to ones that are online for other states. If Interested on other areas I also have over 8,000 online for places like New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan and other states. Probably everyone except the one person you are looking for. When you see one that is of interest to you and if you are on the surname list for that family please feel free to share the link to it. Cheers Ray

I made up a simple sheet that included the info I was looking for, my full address including my e-mail address and telephone number( one county did call me).I left the county space blank , made 88 copies and then filled in the county by hand. That way when they returned the sheet with their answer I knew what county it came from.I also included a SSAE which they all used.It cost me about 74 dollers but in about a month I had my answer. My grandfather was born in Donora, PA in 1903 (youngest) - Antal/Anthony Stefan. He had several siblings - some of which were Josef & John. His father is Pal Stefan. My grandfather was taken back to Hungary in 1908, but returned again abt 1924. When he came back, he settled in Ohio with either John or Joe. Painesville, OH, I believe. After spending time in OH, PA and maybe IN, he finally settled in MI, where my mother was born in 1933 - She is the youngest of 3 girls - Priscilla, Valerie, Veronica. My mom remembers visiting either Joe or John in Painesville each and every summer. Anthony's last residence in Hungary was in Tisza Berczel, Szabolcs (right next to the Tisza river). Not sure if this is just a coincidence, or if there is some connection.
