I believe you can order micro-films of the deeds from the LDS. I have done several other Ohio counties that way. However, those records are basic; name of the child, date of birth, place of birth, names of the parents and who reported the birth. If Freda was born in Youngstown that could be Mahoning or Trumbull county. You would probably find more information from her marriage license applications, assuming she married in Ohio. The application asked for her (and his) age, date of birth, residence, birthplace, occupation, father name, mother's maiden name, whether either was previously married, if she divorced or was a widow and her previous married name. Freda must have married Elmer between 1930 and 1948. Elmer was still single in the 1930 census and when he died 6 Jul 1948 he was divorced.
