I've tried looking through FamilySearch (sometimes they have them) but none for Podolski. If you could send one I would appreciate it. If possible the earliest one, Hopefully it will have the most accurate information. Thanks! Ray Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Do you have access to Ancestry.com or do you need census look-ups? According to their census they immigrated 1887. 1900 indexed as PODOLSKE 1910 - PODOLSKI 1920 - PODOWLSKI 1930 - PODOLSKI We've had relatives from Prussia who changed their names from MARCINKOWSKI to MARTIN (the whole family) and from AGACKI to AJAX (a couple adult children). I think it was a common practice then. I did get the records from the Cuyahoga County Courts who were very nice about it! If you need any census look ups let me know Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. It's funny, I was just looking through the CPL Necrology files last night, but didn't select Podolny as a keyword search. Alot of the names that showed up in Charles Podolski's obit are names that I have, or have been looking for. Until I saw this I was not aware of the name "Podolski". I'm wondering if it isn't the old world version of Podolny. John Podolny is my grandfather, and I've been trying to find information about his father (Andrew Podolny) and his mother (who I believe is Mary Ziolkowski) Are you related to the Podolny's/Podolski's, or just helping out?
