Hello everybody, On 4Sep1846 Theodor H. MÜLLER (MUELLER) married, somewhere in Hamilton Co., Rebecca Marie ORDEMANN. Rebecca was born 31Mar1821 in Bremen, Germany (she belongs to "my" Ordemann family tree); Theodor must have died before 2Mar1876 (derived from the will of Adele Adelheid Ordemann née Greve). The couple had at least 1 child: Annie born about 1850. I wonder if anybody knows more bio data of the couple, Theodor's parents, and the child/children. Kind regards Nikolaus (Ordemann), Düsseldorf (Duesseldorf), Germany -- The Ordemann/Ordeman Genealogy: http://privat.genealogy.net/ordemann

West Virginia's constitution wasn't finalized/adopted until 1872. I believe this is the family in the 1880 Salisbury, Meigs, OH census. All of the children said their father's birthplace was "Zirrech", probably Zurich, Switzerland. For $27 you can order Ethel Anspach's SSN application (SS-5) which should give you her maiden name, dob, pob, parents' names, etc. There is a form letter you can copy at http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/. Or for $21.50 order her death cert but that may not include the details if the informant didn't know. More info is at http://www.odh.ohio.gov/vitalstatistics/vitalstats.aspx/. I am not related but my hunch is that Ethel was either adopted or Ethel was a middle name; maybe Thelma Ethel. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
